Whats Going on in Class?I will be seeing your child every six days and we will be making the most of our time together in the gym. Since our time is limited, I will be offering a broad spectrum of activities so that all students can find success and enjoyment. My goal in designing this physical education program was to teach students the foundational skills they need in order to feel successful while participating in any type of physical activity. The curriculum design takes into account that no two students are at the same place developmentally and promotes growth and mastery by grade 5.

Physical Education Essential Learning Scales
EL's in Physical Education are year-long learning goals that will be consistently worked on and developed. For every grade at Grassy Creek, the EL's cover participation and following rules. If your son or daughter is not where you would like them to be by the end of the first quarter, then please know that they will have time to grow and improve over the course of the entire year.
